Attorney Sommaruga to Address FOIA at CABE Convention

On Friday, November 15, 2024, Pullman & Comley Attorney Mark J. Sommaruga will present at the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) annual convention on Connecticut’s Freedom of Information Act, along with Russell Blair from the Connecticut Freedom of Information Commission.  The presentation, entitled “Understanding Connecticut’s Freedom of Information Act” will serve to provide further/updated guidance to board of education members and school administrators seeking to navigate the FOIA.  Special attention will be paid to modified “remote” and “hybrid” meetings requirements, and further recent revisions to the FOIA. Attorney Sommaruga is the author of “Understanding Connecticut’s Freedom of Information Act” (6th Edition 2023), which is jointly published by CABE and Pullman & Comley.
