On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, Pullman & Comley School Law attorneys Zachary Schurin and Stephen Sedor will present at a Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) Legal Issues Workshop on recent school climate law changes. The presentation, entitled “Student Bullying: Understanding the New School Climate Requirements and Best Practices for Avoiding Legal Liability” will address key changes on student bullying laws from the 2024 and 2023 sessions of the Connecticut General Assembly as well as important provisions from the Connecticut School Climate Policy developed by CABE in consultation with the Social Emotional Learning and School Climate Collaborative. The presentation will also review key liability considerations for district leaders to be aware of in connection with student bullying.
