Attorney David P. Atkins to Speak at National Legal Malpractice Conference

Pullman & Comley attorney David P. Atkins, member of the Litigation Department and Chair of the Professional Liability Section, was a presenter at the American Bar Association's 2016 Fall National Legal Malpractice Conference on September 22, 2016.

Attorney Atkins presented as a panelist for a program entitled, "Understanding the Principles of Contributory and Comparative Negligence in Legal Malpractice Actions." During the presentation, the panel discussed limiting or possibly precluding a law firm's exposure either where the plaintiff was the cause of his or her own claimed injury, or where the fault can be attributed to others.
