Their presentation examined the issues and practices that have most frequently triggered audits by these agencies. Additionally, they offered advice on best practices to help your company avoid the government’s scrutiny and enforcement actions.
Attorney Jon Orleans gave the lunchtime keynote presentation titled "FLSA Wage & Hour Update." His presentation provided a comprehensive overview of changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act overtime regulations and steps employers should take to implement necessary adjustments to employee classifications, compensation strategies, and recordkeeping practices.
