David Atkins to Moderate Panel on Ethical and Legal Issues in 2020 Election
Pullman & Comley Litigation Attorney David P. Atkins will moderate a panel discussion on the ethical and disciplinary issues surrounding legal representation of former President Trump related to challenges to the 2020 election results. The discussion will explore novel questions of legal ethics, the regulation of the legal profession, and the extent to which public statements by licensed lawyers — even if acknowledged to be false or misleading— should be protected from disciplinary action under the First Amendment. David will be joined by panelists Professor Rebecca Roiphe of New York Law School and Dean Erwin Chemerinsky of UC Berkeley School of Law.
The event is open to the YLS community only. For more information, please visit the Yale Law School website.
