Internal Investigations during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Retired Judge Robert L. Holzberg and Adam S. Mocciolo of Pullman & Comley's Internal Investigations practice will be speakers on a webinar, hosted by the Connecticut Conference of Independent Colleges, on navigating the challenges of conducting internal investigations in the current environment.

Retired Judge Holzberg and Adam conducted a long-term highly publicized investigation of over 50 years of management practices of a Catholic diocese in connection with its responses to sexual abuse claims against clergy.  They will be joined by former U.S. Attorney Deirdre M. Daly who led an 8-month independent investigation on behalf of a CT university that culminated in a detailed public report.  These attorneys have deep experience regarding when an investigation is the best course of action, and how credible and efficient investigations can be conducted.   They will also discuss the impact of Title IX regulations on investigations and the related interplay with Connecticut state law.
