Mark Sommaruga to Speak at the 2023 Connecticut Conference of Municipalities Convention

School Law attorney Mark J. Sommaruga will present on the topic of Freedom of Information Act at the 2023 Connecticut Conference of Municipalities Convention. The workshop titled "What's New With FOI? Get A Refresher and Learn the Latest Rules About Virtual Meetings and More" will provide further and updated guidance to public agencies seeking to navigate FOIA, and its numerous exceptions. Special attention will be paid to modified "remote" and "hybrid" meetings requirements, and further recent revisions to the FOIA.
