Mark Sommaruga to Speak on Special Education and Discipline

Pullman & Comley School Law attorney Mark J. Sommaruga will conduct a virtual workshop, "Legal Series: Special Education and Discipline" for the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS). The webinar will explore school districts’ legal obligations in disciplining special education and Section 504 students, including pitfalls in “manifestation determinations” and “change in placement” decisions. Mark will also address districts’ rights in handling truly dangerous students.
