Megan Carannante and Zachary Zeid to Present Cannabis Workshop at the 2021 CCIC Virtual Forum

Megan Youngling Carannante and Zachary T. Zeid, attorneys in Pullman & Comley's Cannabis, CBD and Hemp practice, will be presenting a workshop titled "Legalization of Recreational Cannabis and Recommended Action Steps for Schools" at the Connecticut Conference of Independent College's Forum, which will be held remotely.

Megan and Zach will discuss Connecticut’s legalization of recreational cannabis with recommendations for updating practices and policies for employees, students and vendors. Topics will include:

• An overview of the cannabis law and its intersection with the Drug Free Communities and Schools Act,
• safety issues,
• recognizing impairment, and
• steps to take to educate your community, ensure safety on campus and comply with applicable law.
