Nancy Hancock Moderates CT Technology Council "Tech Talk" on IT Security Planning
Nancy A. D. Hancock, co-chair of Pullman & Comley's Business and Finance practice, moderated "Colonial Pipeline Cyber Attack Highlights Need for IT Security Planning," part of a series sponsored by the Connecticut Technology Council. Nancy was joined by Charles IT's Founder & CEO Foster Charles as well as Finance & Operations Manager Sal Marino.
In the context of recent cyber attacks, including that on the Colonial Pipeline, the speakers discussed common errors that can place organizations in similar positions of vulnerability. Foster and Sal also discussed cybersecurity best practices for both businesses well-versed in security planning and those looking to establish an initial framework of protection, so as to prepare for potential attacks and mitigate the potential for expensive disruptions.
