Attorneys Gary O’Connor and Michael Andreana Participate in Opportunity Zone Luncheon

Attorneys Gary O’Conner and Michael Andreana participated in an Opportunity Zone panel hosted by the Greater Waterbury Chamber in conjunction with the City of Waterbury and the Waterbury Development Corporation.

The Opportunity Zone program was established by the recent federal tax reform legislation. It seeks to encourage long-term investment into financially challenged, high-unemployment communities in federally approved areas by providing a way for investors to reduce or eliminate federal capital gains taxes.
