Two Pullman & Comley attorneys will be speaking at the Fourth Annual Connecticut Bankruptcy Conference, sponsored by the Connecticut Bar Association.
Irve J. Goldman, chair of Pullman & Comley's Bankruptcy, Creditors' Rights, and Financial Restructuring practice, will be speaking on a panel entitled 363 Sales: What is New and What You Need to Know from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m. Attendees will learn about best practices and ethical considerations in both commercial and consumer bankruptcy from top practitioners.
David P. Atkins, chair of the firm's Professional Liability practice, is a panelist in The Lawyer’s Professional Responsibility Surrounding Technology, Electronic Communications, and Cybersecurity session from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. In this interactive program, David will present on the risk management and ethical pitfalls lawyers face from practicing remotely, and from promoting their firms through social media or interactive websites including online lead generation services. He will also cover the do's and don’ts in responding to negative online reviews.
