Attorney David Atkins Presented at APRL Conference

Attorney David P. Atkins, chairman of the firm's Professional Liability Section, was a speaker at the winter conference of the national Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers (APRL) on February 4, 2017. The three-day conference was held in conjunction with the mid-year meeting of the American Bar Association.  APRL sponsors twice yearly meetings with continuing legal education programs on topics relating to lawyers professional liability, lawyer discipline and the "law of lawyering."

Mr. Atkins was the moderator of a panel discussion entitled “Fighting Three Dragons.”  The focus was on defending lawyers accused of misconduct who find themselves simultaneously exposed to court sanctions, licensing discipline and civil liability.
