Complying with the CT Rules of Professional Conduct: Avoiding Discipline and Malpractice
Attorney Marcy T. Stovall of Pullman & Comley's Litigation practice, will take part in a CLE program entitled "Complying with the CT Rules of Professional Conduct: Avoiding Discipline and Malpractice."
The program will offer guidance on meeting professional obligations to clients and the public, including:
- Lawyers' ethical responsibilities in communications, and in interactions with opposing counsel
- Ethical considerations at the beginning of an attorney-client relationship, including engagement agreements, conflict issues and representing clients with impaired capacity
- How to comply with IOLTA rules and about random audits
This seminar will be of value to any attorney that currently practices, or is planning to practice, in Connecticut.
