SEMINAR: Sellers Beware: Attorney-Client Privilege and Conflicts Risks In M&A Transactions
Pullman & Comley Litigation Department and Professional Liability Section Chairman David Atkins was one of two presenters at a program sponsored by the Connecticut Bar Association's Business Law Section entitled "Sellers Beware: Attorney-Client Privilege and Conflicts Risks In M&A Transactions” seminar. This interactive program focused on conflicts of interest and the attorney client privilege for attorneys representing corporate entities in merger and acquisition transactions in the wake of the 2013 decision of the Delaware Chancery Court in Great Hill Equity Partners IV, LP v. SIG Growth Equity Fund I, LLLP. The speakers will focus on addressing these two issues in both on engagement letters and purchase agreement provisions.
