Attorney Joshua A. Hawks-Ladds To Present "Advanced Employment Law" CLE

Pullman & Comley attorney Joshua A. Hawks-Ladds, chair of the firm’s Labor, Employment Law and Employee Benefits practice, was a featured presenter for the myLawCLE webinar, "Advanced Employment Law."  The webinar was broadcasted live on June 23, 2017, and will now be available to view on-demand for one year.

Attorney Hawks-Ladds presented on four diverse advanced employment law topics. First, the “Do’s and Don’t’s” of hiring including avoiding the traps of asking unlawful questions to applicants. He also covered recent “Fair Chance” legislative enactments and the Fair Credit Reporting Act as well as drug testing and other pre-employment screening topics. Next Attorney Hawks-Ladds discussed navigating the FMLA, ADA and Workers’ Compensation leave laws. He also provided guidance on improving personnel policies and collective bargaining agreements.  Finally, Attorney Hawks-Ladds discussed best practices for conducting successful employee investigations.
