Lee Hoffman to Present Workshop on Brownfield Redevelopment
Pullman & Comley's Chair and Environmental attorney Lee D. Hoffman will be a panelist in a session titled “Charging Brownfield Redevelopment through Battery Energy Storage” at the Northeast Sustainable Communities Workshop (NSCW) in Morristown, NJ for the Brownfields Coalition of the Northeast. This session will explore the critical features of energy storage initiatives and the unique advantages of situating these projects on redeveloped brownfields.
Attendees will learn how communities can collaborate with developers to effectively site and implement energy storage solutions, driving environmental and economic benefits. They will also discover the innovative strategies that can turn underutilized brownfield sites into clean energy hubs, enhancing sustainability and resilience in communities.
Lee will be joined by Katelin Nickerson, Project Director at Flycatcher LLC, and Paul Williamson, Director of Development at Key Capture Energy, as they share their insights with Arlette St. Romain, Brownfields Program Manager at LaBella Associates PC, who will moderate the discussion.
