Working Together Webinar Series: Part V - An Overview of CT Freedom of Information Act and Personnel Files Act Requirements: What Employers Need to Know
Pullman & Comley's Working Together Webinar Series covers a variety of topics relating to human resources, labor and employment issues and will continue on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 with a webinar dedicated to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Connecticut Personnel Files Act.
The Connecticut FOIA applies to personnel files of public employees/employers, while the Connecticut Personnel Files Act applies to private employers/employees. - a review of employer obligations and response procedures for personnel files' requests
- Useful tips and recommended best-practices for personnel file management to avoid legal liability
- an overview of obligations and complaint procedures under the Connecticut Personnel Files Act
