Mike McKeon Presents at CABE Legal Issues Workshop Spotlighting Special Education

Attorney Mike McKeon, a member of Pullman & Comley’s School Law practice, presented on two different topics during the Special Education Legal issues workshop hosted by CABE.  The first session, Special Education Essentials: Basics and Beyond, kicked off at 9:00 a.m. and provided an overview of the core principles and legal responsibilities under IDEA. Strategies for navigating the special education process were also discussed. The 10:35 a.m. session What Not to Do: Tips to Avoid Costly Mistakes discussed mistakes that can occur in the process of developing and implementing IEPs and special education programs.
