Pullman & Comley attorneys Andrés Jiménez-Franck and Mark Sommaruga spoke to Hartford Business Journal about the importance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in the legal industry. First-year law students are a newer focus of Pullman & Comley’s efforts in DEI, as the legal profession seeks to align its workforce to the nation’s demographics.

Among the firm's other Labor and Employment attorneys, Andrés and Mark also see an increasing demand from clients on incorporating DEI training programs. “We will try to walk the walk and talk the talk internally; we also want to share these concepts with our clients,” said Mark Sommaruga, chair of Pullman’s DEI committee.
