IN THE NEWS: Alan Sobol Explains Implications of Medical Marijuana Regarding Law Practices

Pullman & Comley White Collar, Criminal Defense and Corporate Investigations Practice Chair Alan Sobol was quoted in an article titled, "Mother's Illness Transforms Lawyer Into Marijuana Business Executive."  The article reports on a Connecticut lawyer who has gotten involved in the medical marijuana industry.

According to Alan, Chair of the Connecticut Bar Association's Criminal Justice Section, the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Commissioner spoke on the topic of Connecticut's new Medical Marijuana Statue at the Section's last meeting.  "We had one of the largest turnouts we've ever had.  And one thing that has become clear is that the implications of medical marijuana are far-reaching and touch on many law practices."
