IN THE NEWS: Attorney Mark J. Sommaruga Presents Arguments For Region 14 Connecticut Supreme Court Case

The Connecticut Supreme Court is currently considering an appeal of a lower court decision that rejected a challenge to a 2013 referendum that approved Region 14's Nonnewaug High School building project.  Pullman & Comley's School Law attorney Mark J. Sommaruga, who represents Region 14, presented his oral argument to the court on Tuesday, May 19th. 

"A headline on page 13 with the time and place is better than a legal notice on page 63," Sommaruga argued against the claim that Region 14's member towns did not follow state statutes to notify the public about the referendum.  "We argue there was ample publicity provided."
