Christopher McCormack Comments on the ASTM Phase II Environmental Assessment Standard
Christopher McCormack, an environmental attorney at Pullman & Comley, LLC also serves on the Executive Committee of ASTM's E50 Committee on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management, and Corrective Action. Chris chaired the Task Group for revision of ASTM Standard E1903 on Phase II Environmental Site Assessments was was quoted in the article, "ASTM Phase II Framework Evolves from Standard Guide to Standard Practice."
Chris explained, "The greatest potential upside of the new standard is to get participants on the same page about these investigations. There was widespread frustration with existing assessment practice because of mismatched expectations from both the people getting the reports and the people doing the work."
