David Atkins and Marcy Stovall Comment on Proposed Changes to Attorney Disciplinary Rules
Pullman & Comley Professional Liability attorneys David Atkins and Marcy Stovall were mentioned in a news article in the April 2 issue of the Connecticut Law Tribune, ("Disciplinary Powers"), about a proposed revision to the rules governing Connecticut's attorney disciplinary proceedings and how it could give the Office of the Chief Disciplinary Counsel enhanced authority.
The article quoted Marcy as follows, “One potential advantage is that the disciplinary counsel and respondents (or their attorneys, when respondents are represented) would have more flexibility to negotiate a proposed disposition based on conduct or a rule provision not identified in the panel’s probable cause notice.”
