IN THE NEWS: John Stafstrom Invigorates the Bridgeport Barnum Festival Finale Weekend

Pullman & Comley Public Finance Department chair John Stafstrom Jr. was quoted in, "Barnum Finale Includes Parade, Fireworks" an article about the Bridgeport city wide Barnum Festival's finale weekend. 

According to John, "Similar to P.T. Barnum's own life, our city has reinvented itself at different times and in different ways. From the entrepreneur who founded both the (Bridgeport to Port Jefferson) ferry and water companies, to the civic leader who built much of the housing on the East Side and founded Bridgeport Hospital, the philanthropist who donated Seaside Park to the city and the entertainer who gave the world the original Tom Thumb, each day I am witness that the spirit of P.T. Barnum continues to reside in the people of Bridgeport."
