We have all seen them driving through a city: The piece of land that looks like a corporate ghost town. Called a brownfield, the property traditionally is hard to sell because of the potential of environmental cleanup that comes with it. The remediation laws have changed however, and responsibility for the cleanup has too. Environmental attorney, Lee Hoffman was featured on the CBIA minute which aired on radio stations across Connecticut reviewing what happens once an application is submitted for a Brownfield site.
