Pullman & Comley Attorneys Successfully Arbitrate Controversy over U.S. Collegiate Archers Competing in World University Games
Pullman & Comley attorneys Daniel Schwartz and Brad Mondschein, with the assistance of Adam Mocciolo, successfully defended the U.S. Collegiate Archery Association (USCAA) in its selection of the U.S. team for the 2011 World University Games in Shenzhen, China. The athletes requested that the arbitrator reinstate them to the U.S. team by granting them an extension of time to produce the required documentation which demonstrated their eligibility to compete at the World University Games. The arbitrator's ruling confirmed the authority of the USCAA rules relating to the enforcement of documentation requirements and the deadlines established for the production of the documentation.
