The Connecticut Lawyers For Immigration Justice Project is Awarded the 2018 Community Service Award
On October 25, the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association awarded its 2018 Community Award to the Connecticut Lawyers for Immigration Justice fundraising campaign begun by Retired Judge Robert Holzberg and Chase Rogers.
Judge Holzberg, who leads the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practice at Pullman & Comley, enlisted former Connecticut Supreme Court Chief Justice Chase Rogers to lead the campaign with him and with the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association’s donation the campaign has now raised some $100,000.
Together they launched the campaign to help foster basic due process in immigration adjudications for everyone in the state, no matter how they arrived here and how little money they have.
