Lauren Davies Interviewed by Fox 61 on How Estate Planning Helps Women Take Control of Assets

As part of its International Women's Day coverage, Fox 61 interviewed Trusts & Estates Attorney Lauren Davies in studio about the importance of estate planning, and how women can take control of their assets when it comes to writing a will and planning for the future.

According to Lauren, good planning can ensure that your wishes are heard and articulated, whether it be naming guardians for your children, or what people, organizations or charities your assets will go to.  She also noted the importance of identifying who will have Power of Attorney and who will act as your health care representative.

"An estate planning attorney should be listening to what your wishes are, and putting those wishes into an actual document," she said.  "It's the attorney's job to make you feel comfortable, understood and to answer your questions."
