Retired Judge Lynda Munro Quoted on Custody Disputes During the Coronavirus Pandemic
Retired Judge Lynda Munro, a member of Pullman & Comley's Alternative Dispute Resolution practice group and Family Law practices, was quoted on the nature of custody agreements during the coronavirus pandemic. With courthouses and family proceedings being shut down apart from emergency situations, parents are being forced to solve their own custody disputes.
Retired Judge Munro, who most recently served as a Presiding Judge for the Family Division of the New Haven Superior Court and earlier as Chief Administrative Judge for Family Matters, recommends that parents stay open-minded, and are creative and transparent in dealing with each other.
“Most people want to do the right thing and just need a place to get guidance,” she said.
