Mark Sommaruga Quoted on Connecticut Schools' Transition to Online Education

Pullman & Comley's School Law Attorney Mark Sommaruga was quoted in a recent CT Examiner article "With Newfound Flexibility and Instructions to Proceed 'Immediately,' Connecticut Schools Grapple With Transition to Online Education" on how education law is playing a role in at-home online learning.

Mark, who is also a member of the Labor, Employment Law, and Employee Benefits Department, said “We will need to see what is lost for all students during this time, but from the legal perspective the state and federal governments are likely going to be a lot more lenient.”
