Monte Frank, co-chair of Pullman & Comley’s Litigation Department, participated in a panel at the CBA’s Connecticut Legal Conference on June 10 entitled, “What Lawyers Can Do to Promote Demoncracy,” about what attorneys can do to “promote, protect and preserve democracy.” Law360 reporter Christine DeRosa covered the panel in a recent article, "Conn. Attys On How Legal Community Protects Democracy."

Monte, serves on the advisory committee that supports the American Bar Association's Task Force for American Democracy and its mission to educate the public about democratic principles and identify ways to improve the current election system.

"The American Bar undertook this important work because it believes our legal profession is uniquely positioned to denounce and prevent anti-democratic practices which seek to influence or overturn election results and to encourage the civic engagement and civil discourse vital to the protection of democracy," Monte said.
