PRESS RELEASE: Cara A. Ceraso of Pullman & Comley Receives "40 Under 40" Award
BRIDGEPORT, Conn., June 10, 2013: Attorney Cara Ann Ceraso with Pullman & Comley, LLC in Bridgeport, is a recipient of this year’s “40 Under 40” award from the Fairfield County Business Journal, the law firm reported today.
The Fairfield County Business Journal presents the “40 Under 40” award to individuals under 40 who have demonstrated leadership roles and are part of Fairfield County’s business growth. Cara and the other recipients of the award will be honored at an awards ceremony on June 20th at Hotel Zero Degrees in Norwalk.
Cara, 33, is a member of Pullman & Comley’s Litigation Department and practices in both state and federal courts in New York and Connecticut. She represents insurers and insured in coverage disputes, environmental and toxic tort coverage litigation. Cara also represents clients in matters related to unfair trade practices, land use, breach of fiduciary duty and mechanics liens foreclosures. Cara joined Pullman & Comley in 2007.
As an active member of the legal community in Fairfield County, Cara is the co-chair of the Insurance Coverage Section of the Fairfield County Bar Association and co-chair of the Young Lawyers for WESFACCA. Cara is also on the Corporate Leadership Council for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women® campaign. She is also a member of the American Bar Association; Greater Bridgeport Bar Association and the Federal Bar Council, and has been rated AV Preeminent, the highest rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
Cara received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2004 and received her B.A. from Boston College in 2001.
