PRESS RELEASE: Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority (CEFIA) and Pullman & Comley Host “Understanding C-PACE”
Hartford: Members of the Connecticut business, energy, environmental and real estate communities attended a breakfast on December 4 with Jessica Bailey, Director of Commercial and Industrial PACE for the Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority (CEFIA), hosted by the law firm of Pullman & Comley and CEFIA at the Hartford Club.

This December 4 event addressed the recent release of the new Commercial Property-Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financing program, which allows commercial and industrial property owners to pay for energy-related improvements to their properties using a financing program that offers low fixed rates and longer repayment plans. The “Understanding C-PACE” seminar addressed benefits and eligibility requirements for the program.
About the Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority (CEFIA):
CEFIA was established by Connecticut’s General Assembly on July 1, 2011 as a part of Public Act 11-80. This new quasi-public agency supersedes the former Connecticut Clean Energy Fund. CEFIA’s mission is to help ensure Connecticut’s energy security and community prosperity by realizing its environmental and economic opportunities through clean energy finance and investments. As the nation’s first full-scale clean energy finance authority, CEFIA will leverage public and private funds to drive investment and scale-up clean energy deployment in Connecticut.
