Diane W. Whitney Named To Board of Trustees of Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame
HARTFORD,: Attorney Diane W. Whitney of Pullman & Comley, LLC has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame.
The Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame is an educational outreach organization whose mission is to honor publicly the achievement of Connecticut women, preserve their stories, educate the public and inspire the continued achievements of women and girls.
Diane Whitney serves as chair of Pullman & Comley’s Environmental Department, and heads the firm’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. She practices in the areas of environmental, toxic torts and land use law. She has been listed in Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyers to Businesses, since 1997. Diane is a member of the American, Connecticut and Hartford County Bar Associations; the National Association of Women Lawyers and the Society of Women Environmental Professionals. She is a contributing author to Connecticut Civil Complaints for Business Litigation, Vol. 1, published in 2010, and Connecticut Civil Discovery Forms, published in 2011. Diane is a member of the Connecticut Women's Council and is president of the board of directors of Greater Hartford Legal Aid and a member of the board of directors of the 1892 Club.
Diane received her B.A. from William Smith College; an M.A.T. from Colgate University and her J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
