Pullman & Comley Hosts “DEEP: One Year Later" With DEEP Commissioner Daniel C. Esty
HARTFORD, May 24, 2012: More than 100 members of the Connecticut business, energy and environmental community attended a breakfast on May 22 with Daniel C. Esty, Commissioner of the state’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), hosted by the law firm of Pullman & Comley at the Hartford Club.

The May 22 event was a follow up to a breakfast the law firm hosted a year ago, when Commissioner Esty had recently been appointed head of the newly formed Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. This year, Commissioner Esty spoke about some of the challenges DEEP faced over the past year, including two major storms followed by widespread power outages in Connecticut, and the department’s primary areas of focus moving forward. His remarks were followed by a Q&A with the audience and a Pullman & Comley panel on recent developments in energy and environmental law.
