PRESS RELEASE: Pullman & Comley Welcomes Livia DeFilippis Barndollar and Kelly A. Scott to Family Law Practice
BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut: Pullman & Comley is pleased to announce the addition of Livia DeFilippis Barndollar and Kelly A. Scott to the firm’s Family Law Practice. Both attorneys are located in Fairfield County, with Ms. Barndollar based in Westport and Ms. Scott based in Bridgeport.

Livia D. Barndollar, a member of the firm, focuses her family law practice on litigation matters involving dissolution of marriage cases and in post judgment and appellate proceedings. She also resolves matters by informed and experienced negotiation. For years, Ms. Barndollar has been actively involved in the legal community, having served as president of the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) and chair of its Family Law Section, and serves as officer on numerous other CBA committees.
A recognized leader in the legal profession, Ms. Barndollar has earned numerous professional awards for her accomplishments. She is a board member of the Connecticut Legal Services and the Connecticut Bar Foundation, and also has been named a Fellow of both the Connecticut Bar Foundation and the American Bar Foundation. Since 2006, she has been a delegate to the ABA House of Delegates.
Ms. Barndollar takes an active role in several family law publications and has served as the senior topical editor for family law of the Connecticut Bar Journal since 2000. She has served as an editor of the Bar Journal since 1985, and was editor in chief of the journal from 1994-1997. She also serves as an editor at large of The Family Advocate, published by the American Bar Association's Section of Family Law.
An engaging speaker, Ms. Barndollar frequently presents on topics other than family law, and has delivered speeches for new admittees' induction ceremonies. She has also conducted several addresses at the request of the Connecticut Supreme Court. She earned her B.A. from Trinity College and her J. D. from Villanova University School of Law.
Kelly A. Scott, associate, represents her clients in all areas of matrimonial and family law, including divorce, property division, alimony, child support, child custody, and parenting access. She is also experienced in high-net worth and high-conflict custody and financial matters.
Kelly participates in the State of Connecticut’s Volunteer Attorney Program in Stamford, and is a Special Master for family matters in the Fairfield Judicial District. She is a member of both the Connecticut Bar Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association and actively participates in their family law and young lawyers’ sections. She received her B.A. from Fordham University and her J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law.
