Overview
Daniel Barrack is an associate in the Public Finance Practice. His focus is on assisting municipalities and special taxing districts in tax-exempt and taxable bond financing transactions. In addition, he assists in the representation of the Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority, underwriters and 501(c)(3) borrowers in connection with the issuance of general obligation and revenue bonds. His transactional work includes researching, drafting and reviewing authorization proceedings, indentures, disclosure documents, tax compliance documents and closing documents.
Daniel joined Pullman following an internship in the Office of the General Counsel of an American aerospace manufacturer in East Hartford, where he worked on intellectual property and litigation matters. He is a May 2022 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he was involved in numerous activities, including serving as treasurer of the Diversity Alliance, secretary of the Energy and Environmental Law Society, lead articles editor for the Connecticut Journal of International Law, and a volunteer in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. In addition, Daniel served as a legal intern for Connecticut’s Joint Committee on Judiciary, where his clinical work focused on claims against the state.
