Building an Inclusive Workplace with Reasonable Accommodations - Working Together Webinar Series: Part II
Please join us on Wednesday, February 5 at noon for our second Working Together Webinar of 2025 presented by Pullman & Comley's Labor & Employment law practice: "Building an Inclusive Workplace with Reasonable Accommodations for Employee Mental Health Conditions."
Attorney Joshua A. Hawks-Ladds, co-chair of the firm’s Labor, Employment Law and Employee Benefits practice, and Attorney Bianca LoGiurato, will present on how to manage and support employees who may require an accommodation associated with mental health and neurodivergent conditions, such as anxiety, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Key topics include:
- A refresher on employer obligations under the ADA and CFEPA;
- Guidance on the “interactive process” and determining appropriate accommodations or when an “undue hardship” is present;
- Discussion on how to create an inclusive and productive environment for all employees; and
- How documentation and workplace policies can help mitigate future problems.
The session will include ample time for Q&A. Don't miss this opportunity to stay informed and ensure your business is well-prepared on this important topic. Click here to register.
