Joshua Hawks-Ladds Featured on CBIA Question of the Day on How Employers Can Verify Leave Requests Relating to COVID-19

Joshua Hawks-Ladds, chair of Pullman & Comley's Labor, Employment Law and Employee Benefits Department, commented on what documentation should be requested when an employee requests leave under the Family First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) in a recent edition of CBIA's Question of the Day. 

Josh explains "an employer can demand that the employee put it in writing but for all intents and purposes, especially if an employee is at home requesting a leave, that may not be possible."
