Pullman & Comley attorney Beck S. Fineman was recently featured in a Law360 article announcing his addition to the firm’s Family Law and Litigation practices. The article highlights his nearly 20 years of litigation experience, noting that Beck strengthens the firm’s ability to handle complex family law matters and high-stakes disputes.

In the article, Beck shared his enthusiasm for joining Pullman & Comley, highlighting the firm’s collaborative environment and values. “I was drawn to the family practice at Pullman & Comley LLC, in particular, because this is a team of bright and passionate advocates with the unique advantage of a full-service law firm behind it, allowing us to collaborate with lawyers in so many other disciplines,” Beck said. “I was also drawn to P&C’s ethos of developing ‘citizen lawyers’ and its demonstrated commitment to diversity, something that as an out transgender attorney, I appreciate now more than ever.”

"Beck is a welcome addition to our growing Family Law practice," said Lee D. Hoffman, chair of Pullman & Comley. "His litigation experience, combined with his dedication to client advocacy and community involvement, makes him a valuable addition to our team. Beck is an acknowledged leader on LGBTQ+ issues, both regionally and nationally. Most importantly, Beck's insight and leadership will strengthen our ability to navigate complex family law matters and provide excellent service to our clients."

Beck has been actively involved in the legal community, having served as president of the LGBTQ Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. He is also a member of the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association and a Connecticut Bar Foundation James W. Cooper fellow.

Beck earned his law degree from the University of Maryland's Francis King Carey School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Smith College.
